Tamar Saracens Rugby Football Club

Welcome to the Tamar Saracens Rugby Football Club website. The Club plays its rugby in Devon League 1 and the Plymouth Combination. Playing at Parkway Sports and Social Club in Ernesettle, Plymouth we have excellent facilities, including our own pitch and bar.

Last season was successful for the Firsts, who had only won promotion for Devon League 2 the year before. As well as securing their position in League 1, they won the RNEC Cup against Devonport Services. A fantastic result considering that they played 4 games that week. The Seconds also did well with many of the players winning regular places in the Firsts, not to mention beating the Firsts in the Bentley Cup.

Currently we put out two regular teams, Firsts and Seconds, but we want to expand and become a bigger force in Plymouth and Devon rugby. The rugby club has players from all walks of life including University Students and Graduates, Services Personnel and Builders. Everybody here just wants to play some rugby and enjoy some more beers. We always want new players to come and join us no matter what their skill level, size, or experience.

Training is on Tuesdays and Thursdays nights, 7 - 9pm at the Parkway Sports and Social Club. Pre-season begins on July the 3rd. Everybody and Anybody is welcome
